DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE SECURED AND READY FOR SCALING

Date: August 20, 2026

Today marks a significant milestone in the history of ECOPAC AB. The basic foundational digital infrastructure for the Nexus platform is now fully operational and securely hosted on our dedicated AWS environment.

We have successfully finalized the migration of our primary domain, ecopac.se, and established our official, secure communication channels. This technical consolidation is a crucial step as we prepare for the upcoming pilot projects involving our Penalty Indexed Royalty (PIR) model and the Matrix System Architecture (MSA).

The innovation: Integrated, polymer-free valve system for liquid carton packaging (ECOPAC TAP LOCK) is now patented and is a vital part of our vision to replace plastic and glue with a 100% ecological solution.

By ensuring full control over our digital ecosystem, we are now structurally equipped to initiate collaborations with regulatory bodies and global industry leaders. The transition toward a sustainable, paper-based revolution is moving exactly according to plan.

The end of the plastic age is no longer just a philosophy. The system shift is here.

What is Matrix System Architecture (MSA)?
MSA is the structural foundation of ECOPAC’s physical innovations. It is a comprehensive framework of proprietary, interlocking paper engineering mechanisms designed to completely eliminate the need for plastics and glues. The architecture is engineered for seamless integration into mass production and global scalability.

Will MSA save the dragons from EU PPWR penalty?
Yes, indeed. MSA is 100% ecological and built on geometrical friction that uses cellulose. It’s the industrial origami for the future.

What is the Grant-Back Clause?
Companies will be required to grant ECOPAC AB the rights to any improvements, modifications, or technical optimizations they develop while using the Matrix System Architecture. This ensures that the core technology remains unified, continuously evolving, and exclusively under our control, preventing market fragmentation and securing the integrity of our global packaging revolution.

What is Penalty Indexed Royalty (PIR)?
PIR is a groundbreaking licensing model aligned with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Rather than standard fixed fees, the PIR model calculates royalties based on the actual financial penalties and climate fines a corporation avoids by replacing non-compliant plastic packaging with our sustainable ECOPAC solutions. As the plastic age dies, the evolution demands a paradigm shift to be able to calculate the correct worth of the ”white gold” cellulose which is much more valuable than plastic because of the unavoidable PPWR penalty.

What is Nexus Developer Cloud?
It is a cloud infrastructure that will help the packaging industry develop by sharing dielines in industry standard file formats such as SVG, DXF.

How much does it cost?
MSA will be available in three license models, BASIC, PRO and ENTERPRISE. Yearly prices and royalty fees will be determined upon release.

Why is a SaaS model needed for license agreements?
Because the world is bleeding from the plastic crisis, and the transition must be fully automated. If we were to rely on the old, manual models of licensing negotiations, it would take 500 years for the global corporate dragons to implement the changes needed to save the planet. We do not have 500 years. A SaaS infrastructure forces immediate, global, and scalable action, bypassing endless boardroom delays and negative nonsense.

When will MSA be available?
Pilot projects that lasts 3 months are planned to start autumn 2026 for selected targets to validate the architecture. After that companies will be able to sign up at the Nexus Developer Cloud platform and be saved by the bell.

Sincerely,
